Anna DeForge's 17 year pro career is one of monumental strength, perseverance and work ethic.   From the small paper mill community of Niagara, Wisconsin to the University of Nebraska, on to the Professional ranks of the WNBA and then around the world to Europe, basketball has been the vehicle for Anna DeForge's successful journey. 

 Anna DeForge is a Wisconsin Basketball Hall of Famer, 5-Time European Champion, 2-Time WNBA All-Star, 2-Time All-American and one of the coveted 5 players to be named to the University of Nebraska All Century Team.

In Anna DeForge's pursuit to becoming the best basketball player she could be, she overcame the likes of not being drafted, cut twice by WNBA teams and an ACL injury.  Come along and read about my storied career and to becoming arguably one of the best women's basketball players the state of Wisconsin has produced. 




 Anna went on to having a very successful playing career in Europe winning a total of 5 Championships in different countries: 3 in Poland, 1 in Czech Republic and another in Latvia.  She also played 2 years in Spain and 3 years in Turkey.  Anna earned honors such as Euroleague All-Star, 3 Time Polish All-Star as well as league MVP, Turkish All-Star and capping her European career off with MVP recognition in Latvia.
